Migraines are a neurological condition. They involve the trigeminal nerve sending pain signals to the brain, blood vessels changing pressure, and the nervous system becoming hypersensitive to light, sound, and touch. Regular headaches are different — typically caused by muscle tension, stress, or eye strain building up pressure in the same areas.
Therakova targets the physical experience of both.
Air Compression Six airbags apply gentle, rhythmic pressure across your forehead, temples, and eye area — where both migraine and headache pain is felt most. For migraines, compression reduces the pain signals the trigeminal nerve sends. For regular headaches, it releases the muscle tension causing the pressure — the same way pressing on a tense muscle helps it relax.
Heat Therapy (Optional) During both migraines and headaches, the muscles around your head and temples tighten and make the pain worse. Gentle warmth at 45–55°C helps those muscles loosen and calms your nervous system. If heat feels like too much during an intense attack, turn it off and use compression only.
Together, they don't stop the underlying cause — but they meaningfully reduce how much it hurts while it passes.
